earth day 2010

I am one of those people obsessed with plants, gardens, yards, farms and forests! 

Every inch of available outdoor space has something growing. Every window has a window box. 

The building where I live has a courtyard and a back space between more buildings

 and I am growing things! 

stairway to heaven

Talk about great design, this is the stairway at the Mechanics Institute Library 

here in downtown San Francisco!

I love this library.

It's like being in Rome and going into one of the churches for peace and quiet.

These chairs are fabulous.
